APPLICATION FOR INDIGENOUS-LED PLACE-BASED PROJECTS (2023-24)


The Ărramăt Project is supporting Indigenous-led Place-Based Projects for 2023-24. This Request for Proposals  (RFP) is open to members of the Ărramăt Team and requires that an Indigenous Government/ Organization/Leader have a leading role in the project. This application form asks for information about the purpose, approach, and outcomes of a proposed project and how the project is related to the spirit and purpose of the Ărramăt Project. Please refer to the application guidelines Indigenous-led Place-Based  Project Application Guidelines for further background information on how to fill out this form. If you are seeking ideas about research project focal points or questions or methods/tools that might be relevant, please review the Ărramăt Project Strategic Plan and Methodological Toolboxes.

We appreciate the effort and time it will take to answer each question; all this information is important to our ability to administer the funding, support you and your project as well as meet the requirements of the funding agency. You are welcome to send us answers to any of the questions by audio-video recording through email.

    Signatures required: The undersigned hereby certify acceptance of the terms and conditions of the Ărramăt project grants as outlined in the general guidelines. This signifies that the respective individuals are aware of the application, approve of the use of the department or organization’s facilities, services, or other resources as may be necessary for the work, and that the applicant has (or will be allowed) the necessary time to undertake the project within his/her normal work schedule.

    If an access to information request is received regarding the present funding application or any other information about the Applicant in LAC’s possession, the information provided to LAC will be treated in accordance with the Access to Information Act, R.S. 1985, c. A-1, and the Privacy Act, R.S. 1985, c. P-21. Where funding is approved, however, the amount of funding, the purpose for which the funds were awarded and the name of the organization receiving the funding are considered public information.

    The personal information requested on this form is being collected under the authority of Section 33(c) of the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act for the purposes of adjudication and administration of the Ărramăt Project Sub-Grant.
