Indigenous-led Place-Based Projects

The Ărramăt Project hopes to support 146 Indigenous-led Place-Based Projects across Canada and around the world between 2023-2027.  We are currently funding over 40 Projects, and expect that another 25 Indigenous organizations will launch their research later this year (2023).  A second round of funding will be released in 2025-2026 for Place-based Projects.

Through Ărramăt, these project teams are also working together with our Transformational Pathways to build networks, share approaches, methods, insights, and strategies to change policy and drive institutional change at the local, national and global scales.  Please learn more about these incredible Projects and the amazing Indigenous organizations leading this work at the links below.
