1 Congresso Latioamericano sobre una Sola Salud (I CLAUS) – 1st Latin American Congress on One Health (I LACOH)
Theme: “Towards a safe, sustainable, and healthy future in the Americas”
The I CLAUS is aimed at public officials from the health, agriculture, production, environment, and energy and mining sectors; researchers; professionals; students; and private sector representatives. The goal is to strengthen local capacities in the Americas. It will also seek to consolidate academic and technical ties among participating countries, developing the One Health in the Americas network.
Therefore, I CLAUS aims to contribute to the generation of public and private policies aimed at the sustainable development of the region, promoting strategies and new lines of work and strengthening alliances with local and international organizations to develop solutions with a One Health approach to the Latin American agenda toward a safe, sustainable, and healthy future in the Americas, with an emphasis on children’s health.

Renato Azevedo Matias Silvano is organizing a session on Ecosystem Health and Food Security on December 3rd at the 1st Latin American Congress on One Health in Lima, Peru, and is asking if two Ărramăt colleagues, preferably from different countries, would be interested in participating in this table and to give a brief talk. If anyone wants to give a talk with Renato at the session (Table 7), please contact him. At this stage the organizers cannot support travel, but can waive registration fee for speakers.
