
Ines will then be joined in dialogue by Chris Furgal, an environmental health scholar working with Arctic Indigenous Peoples, and Treena Delormier, a leading researcher in Indigenous nutrition and health. Together, they will share lived experiences, research insights, and community stories that illuminate the complexities and opportunities surrounding Indigenous food systems today.
Moderated by Alejandro Argumedo, a Quechua agronomist from Peru with over 25 years of experience working with Indigenous peoples, small-scale farmers, and international institutions, this session aims to build shared understanding, identify conceptual and practical gaps, and highlight opportunities for co-creation.
This webinar is a foundational step toward a living document that will gather key concepts, experiences, and principles from Indigenous communities—serving as a basis for continued collaboration, collective learning, and future action.
