Requests for Proposals – Video/Audio Application Guidelines
The Ărramăt Project is supporting Indigenous-led Place-Based Projects for 2025-2026. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is open to members of the Ărramăt Team (only) and requires that an Indigenous Government/ Organization/Leader have a leading role in the project. This guideline is for those who wish to submit an oral application (video or audio) or audio-video recordings as complementary to their online or written application. Please refer to Indigenous-led Place-Based Project Application Guidelines for further background information on how to fill out this form. If you are seeking ideas about research project focal points or questions or methods/tools that might be relevant, please review the Ărramăt Project Strategic Plan and Methodological Toolboxes.
Please note: You may also send us a video along with your application form if you prefer to answer some questions orally. Audio-video recordings can also include any other information that you wish to include and do not need to follow the form specifically.
HOW TO APPLY:
- Review the questions in the RFP application form. Your video application should cover the content requested in the form.
- Film your video for up to a maximum of 15 minutes. You can share your ideas in any Indigenous language, English, French, Spanish, Thai, or Portuguese. If you require another language, please email us.
- Read out each question and then your response to each question.
- Include any other information at the end. Please feel free to include oral histories/storytelling, experiences, Indigenous language, songs, or anything else you feel is important.
- Since we will not be able to get your written signature, please orally consent acceptance of the terms and conditions of the Ărramăt Project grants as outlined in the general guidelines at the end of your video.
- Save your video and submit it to us. We prefer mp3/mp4 audio files. However, if we are unable to play your video, we may ask you to upload it to YouTube or Vimeo as a private video for us to view.
WHATSAPP: To submit an application through WhatsApp, please email us to request our phone number.
Video submissions will be reviewed by the Ărramăt Team and then deleted after the application decision has been made. We will not share the application or any video content as per our Indigenous Data Management Plan. We appreciate the effort and time it will take to answer each question; all of this information is important to our ability to administer the funding, support you and your project, and meet the funding agency’s requirements.
Any audio-video files should be submitted electronically to research@arramatproject.org – We are accepting submissions beginning October 1, 2024.
If you require support or have any questions about audio-video applications, please get in touch with research@arramatproject.org.
